Rules of the game:

4. Technical fouls

The following are considered technical fouls ("fouling the ball"):

i. Picking the ball directly off the ground (instead it must be flicked up with the hurl or the foot)

ii. Throwing the ball (instead it must be "hand-passed": slapped with the open hand)

iii. Going more than 4 steps with the ball in the hand (it may be carried indefinitely on the hurley though)

iv. Catching the ball three times in a row without it touching the ground (touching the hurley does not count)

v. Putting the ball from one hand to the other

vi. Hand-passing a goal

vii. Throwing the hurley

viii. Square ball: If, at the moment the ball enters "the square", the small rectangle surrounding the goal, there is already an attacking player inside, a free out is awarded.
